I meant to post this yesterday, for #Maythe4thbewithyou!!! But in all honesty, #RevengeoftheFifth is just as appropriate. I mean, we need the Force to power through all these book right? And when you look at the stack you just read and feel pretty accomplished. Only to be smacked in the face with the rest of that #neverendingTBR pile that somehow grew even more!!! Totally Sith revenge style.

Even though April ended up being my biggest month for books read, I didn’t manage to fit a single book from the BookRiot challenge in my list. Which is disappointing to say the least. I need to start actively adding in books from that list or I’m never going to complete them all!
I also had my first DNF book in years! Usually I power through books. Even if I hate them. I have such a hard time letting a book go. But, I just couldn’t even with The Smoke Thieves. I tried. I gave it 100 pages!!! 100 PAGES!!! And I just could not get into the characters. Or the writing. Or any of it. I’m still reluctant to call it quits entirely. After all, that copy with the pink stained edges is just so beautiful! Maybe I’ll try again in a while. you never know….
Outside of continuing my awesome buddy reading groups, and working with the amazing Tracy for Paper Obscura, things have been consistent over here. I did add two weekly features to my blog that I am having a ton of fun with!
#makeoutmarrymurdermonday is every Monday (obvs) and seriously it’s one of the funnest things I’ve done in a long time! I hope you find them as amusing as I do.

It’s a new thing for me. I’ve had a few books surprise me at their end, so I’m always hesitant to give up. But, I’m realizing there’s too many books to hold out hope when you aren’t enjoying it!
