It’s a Tuesday that feels like a Monday. So what better way to brighten your blues, than by sharing an account that will seriously make you swoon over her aesthetic. Her photos make me want to jump in and wrap myself in their coziness!
I actually took my photo for Instagram today in honor of her bookstagram handle @pouringoverpages. I’ve always wanted to just pour out pages over pages, and had a ton of fun creating a photo as gorgeous as she is! Say hello to Sue!
Told you she was gorgeous! I first met Sue when she became a rep for @bookloverscoffee. Clearly this was a friendship meant to be cemented in coffee grounds. She is always so positive and cheerful, and I just love love love her photos!!!

First, DROOL!!! I haven’t seen these books in YEARS! Don’t ask how many, because that’s just not polite. But let’s just say I was obsessed with this series for quite awhile. If you don’t know this series, what have you even been doing with your life?!?

When did you start your Bookstagram account?
I opened my account March of 2016, but originally made it for business purposes. I switched over to a Bookstagram in June of that same year.
Why do you bookstagram?
I love books! I also love the Bookstagram community so much and all the amazing friendships I’ve made on there.
Do you have a favorite bookstagram account?
Oh gosh, that’s a hard question because I love so many….soooo I’ll just say @hotdudesreading

I love having a theme personally, but no preference for other accounts. If you love your feed, I love your feed.

I recreated the cover for These Shallow Graves by Jennifer Donnelly!
Why is it your favorite?
It was so fun to do- my daughter was my hand model and I’m just plum proud of our work.
What do you do when you’re not on the Internet?
I’m a mom of 5 so I’m super busy raising the kids and tending house. I work my home-based businesses, paint, workout, and read (of course) in my spare time.
Holy busy mama!!! Not that you have time, but…. Hobbies?
I paint, knit, dabble in amateur photography, and hoping to take tennis back up sometime this year (or next year or lets be real, Sue…probably never)
What about a favorite place to read?
On my big comfy chair in my living room, back porch, and my bed.

At the moment it’s historical romance

I neeeed the hard copies! Actually….I love all for different reasons. My top pick would definitely be paperback because I like to crack spines and bend covers back when I’m reading. I know, savage. Hardcovers for their looks, and ebooks for night reading.
Book Boyfriends? For or against?
Oh sooooooooo totally for the Book BF, but because I’m 42 and these men are ready to fully commit themselves to me- they’re Book Husbands.
Oh, girl. Give me a Book Husband PLEASE!!!
Only one?!?! Ok… my #1 Book Husband is the Darkling. But….. I miiiiight change my BH to Aaron Warner. He’s my new fave this year. Darkling is the OG of BH’s.

Not sure…is there a book about an exhausted mother?
Do you have a blog?
I do! But never use it. I created it last year and I’m currently working on content. Just trying to find my voice, then I will officially launch it.
When did you start blogging?
I actually started blogging on MySpace 13 years ago. I’ve blogged a few times over the years, but I always cringe when I reread my posts so I deleted all my blogging accounts hahaha!
Do you have any not deleted favorite posts?
Don’t have one yet so hopefully I can answer that soon.

Don’t really have one. My blog tastes change so frequently.
Favorite reading snack?
I don’t usually eat when I read, but I do love to drink tea/coffee/wine!
Any specific drinks you’re currently obsessing over?
I’m loving Hot Cinnamon Sunset tea and haven’t met a dark roast I didn’t like. Da Vinci Pinot Grigio is my current wine of choice.
