I had to share this! HAD TO!!! It’s basically the law because it just delights me to no end. I mean, the way it started is not delightful. It’s actually incredibly disturbing, especially considering the serious conversations we all need to have about bodies and how no one, not even fathers, should have the right to control or take ownership of someone else’s body. Physically or otherwise.
But, it’s important to start at the beginning. Like any good story, right?
It all began with a podcast…
Did you just did a double take and had to re-read what you thought you read? Yeah. So did the entire Internet.
But no one gathered in solidarity more than Twitter.

However you feel about Twitter, whether it’s good or bad or indifferent, it is moments like this, when I adore the power of social media. They took something obscene, controlling, and seriously disturbing, and sparked a conversation. Not to mention, came through in spectacular form to really get people’s attention.
